Who are the Goldilocks and the Three Bears Characters?
Do you know the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears? It is a classic tale about a young girl who goes into the forest to find food, and comes across a house made of gingerbread. She goes inside, and finds three bowls of porridge. One is too hot, one is too cold, and one is just right. Then she tries the chairs, beds, and finally the bears’ house itself. Everything she tries is either too big, too small, or just right. In the end, she is discovered by the bears and runs away. But who are these characters?
The first character we meet is Goldilocks herself. She is a young girl, probably between the ages of five and seven. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. We don’t know much about her background, except that she lives in the forest with her parents.
The next characters we meet are the three bears. They are a family of bears who live in the forest in a house made of gingerbread. The father bear is named Papa Bear, the mother bear is Mama Bear, and the baby bear is Baby Bear. They are all different sizes, with Papa Bear being the largest, Mama Bear being medium-sized, and Baby Bear being the smallest.
We don’t know much about the background of the three bears either. They are just a family of bears who live in the forest and eat porridge.
The last character we meet is the Woodsman. He is a man who lives in the forest and is friends with the three bears. He helps them out sometimes, like when he gives them porridge or helps them build their gingerbread house.
Printable Goldilocks and the Three Bears Characters Craft
List of Supplies needed:
- Colored craft papers
- Craft glue
- Popsicle sticks
- Sharpie
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Goldilocks and the 3 bears printable PDF
Instructions:
Step 1:
Select colored craft papers for Goldilocks paper craft and the 3 bear’s craft. Trace the template patterns on the selected colored craft papers and cut them out nicely using a pair of scissors.
Step 2:
Grab the bear patterns and attach the hands with the body base.
Step 3:
Stick the round shapes in the middle of the belly part (of the bears) and the stick the arch shaped cutouts in the middle of the ear parts attached to the head part.
Step 4:
Take the Goldilocks hair and body cutout. Cut a slit along with the pattern inside the hair pattern.
Step 5:
Slide the top side of the head through the slit of the hair from the bottom. Use glue to fix the hair pattern with the head part of the body base. Stick the dress patterns on the lower part of the body base.
Step – 6:
Use a black sharpie to draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the paper Goldilocks and bear crafts.

Another reason may be that readers can identify Goldilocks. She is a relatable character because she is curious and takes risks, but she also makes mistakes.
