Biblical affirmations are short statements intended to direct our thoughts toward God and the truths found in His Word.

Unlike statements based solely on personal feelings or positive thinking, these faith-based messages remind us of God’s character, His promises, and what His Word teaches about our identity in Christ.

For example, the declaration “I am a new creation in Christ” comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17. It serves as a reminder that faith in Christ brings spiritual renewal and a new identity.

A biblical affirmation deck should not replace reading God’s Word. Instead, use each statement or passage as a starting point for reflection, memorization, meditation, and a deeper study of the surrounding text.

These encouragement cards can become part of your morning devotional, quiet time, Bible study, or daily routine whenever you need support.

Choose One Card Each Day

Place the cards in a small box, basket, or jar. Choose one each morning and keep it nearby throughout the day as a faith-based reminder.

If the card includes a reference, look up the complete passage. Read the surrounding text to understand the meaning and context, then take a moment to meditate on its truth.

Add the Cards to a Prayer Journal

Glue or tape one affirmation card inside your journal. Write the related passage beneath it and use these questions as journaling prompts:

• What does this passage teach me about God?
• What important message should I keep in mind today?

2. Download and save the PDF to your device.
3. Open it with a PDF reader.
4. Load white cardstock into your printer.
5. Choose “actual size” or 100 percent in your printer settings.
6. Print all seven pages.
7. Cut out the nine cards on each page.
8. Laminate the cards or place them on a binder ring if desired.

Regular printer paper will also work, though cardstock makes the cards more durable for personal use.
