How to Create the Banner Using the Scripture Cards

You can print the scripture cards out on card stock paper from your printer. It is better to use card stock paper because it is thicker and more durable. If you use traditional printer paper, it can break easily, and you might not be able to keep the banner to use next Easter.

After you print the scripture cards out, you can show them to your children and go over the different cards with them. They may want to ask questions about the context of the content featured on each card. You can provide details in a kid-friendly way that helps them better understand what happened to Jesus and why we celebrate Easter in the first place.

Once you have gone over the scripture with your children, you can punch a small hole in the center of each card. Place the cards in the right order based on the images and letters displayed on the back. Place a colorful ribbon through each hole to connect the cards. Make sure they are not overlapping. You want to put the cards directly next to one another in the proper order.

The decorative banner should say, “He Lives!” If you want to avoid dealing with ribbon, you can hang the scripture cards on the wall using double-sided tape on the back of them.
