What supplies are needed to make this Olaf craft?
You will need a few basic craft supplies to create this cute Olaf. Most of these items are easily available at craft stores, or you might already have them at home:
- Colored craft papers/construction paper
- Paper plate
- Popsicle stick
- Sharpie
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Scissors
Step-by-Step Instructions to Assemble This Olaf Puppet:
Select off-white or white, orange, brown, black, and grey colored craft papers for the Olaf puppet craft. Trace the template patterns on the appropriate colored craft papers and cut them out nicely.
Attach the teeth cutout to the top-middle part of the mouth cutout, attach the twig hair cutout to the top side of the head cutout, and attach one button cutout to the small upper body cutout and two buttons to the big lower body cutout.
Attach the carrot nose and the mouth patterns on the head cutout.
Attach the eyebrows and the eye cutouts on the top part of the head.
Attach the two body cutouts, keeping the small part on the top. Attach the two leg cutouts on the bottom of the lower body part.
Attach the head pattern on the top side of the upper body pattern.
Attach the twig arm cutouts on both sides of the body pattern.
Attach the papercraft Olaf figure on a popsicle stick but glue the head part only, keep the rest of the body free from glue.
Take a paper plate and cover the inner-bottom surface of the plate with blue-colored craft paper. Cut a 4 inches slit along a side of the plate adjacent to the bottom surface. Attach a half-circular paper cutout on the blue paper of the plate and keep the half-circular paper right above the slit. Keep the top side of the half-circular paper open.
Disney Olaf Puppet Craft
Insert the papercraft Olaf through the slit and bring the bottom half of the body pattern to the front side of the half-circular part. Keep the popsicle stick outside the slit so that you can move the puppet with the stick.
Move the outer part of the popsicle stick to make the papercraft Olaf puppet move inside the plate.
