Step-by-Step Instructions to Make this Earth Day Shaving Cream Craft:
Take a piece of card stock and a small dining plate or similar type of circle that can be traced. Trace the object to create the earth, then cut out the circle.
Trace a heart cookie cutter or free-hand draw a heart on the red construction paper.
Cut out the small heart.
Fill the cooking sheet with the foam shaving cream.
Speckle it with the blue and green food coloring.
Use a wooden skewer to swirl the food coloring around.
Place the circle of white card stock onto the prepared shaving cream and press down gently.
Carefully lift and place on wax paper to dry (don’t scrape the shaving cream off yet).
Continue until all the desired earths have been colored.
Let sit for 30 minutes, then take a piece of cardboard and scrape the excess shaving cream.
Carefully place the earth back onto the wax paper and let dry overnight.
Use the glue stick to stick the heart onto the middle of the earth.
