Do you love fairy gardens? This Fairy garden wreath is a creative way to enjoy a fairy garden on your front door. This is an easy project for kids or teens to do that they will be proud of and enjoy displaying. The wreath is to adorable and very easy to make.

What is a Fairy Garden?

Fairy gardens are a combination of miniature structures and living plants that you can grow in a container outside or indoors. They are creative small gardens that can be designed any way you want them to look. Kids and adults alike enjoy fairy gardens. This wreath would be a perfect fun garden inspired wreath that is easy to Make and that everyone will enjoy.

Supplies needed to make the Fairy Garden Wreath:


 foam wreath form
chenille yarn, white
green crafting pom poms 
cotton spun mushrooms
– hot glue, glue gun
– scissors 

Materials to make a fairy garden

Directions:


1. Begin by wrapping the chenille yarn around the wreath form.

2. Secure the end of the yarn with hot glue to the inside of the wreath form, start wrapping, and wrap until slightly more than half, or about 3/4ths of the form is covered.

3. Cut the yarn, add a dab of glue, and press the end of the segment to the inside of the wreath to secure it in place. 

4. Add a generous dab of hot glue to the back of the pom poms and press them to the bare area of the wreath form. Hold in place firmly until secure. Keep adding the poms until the bare area is covered. For ours, we used two different sizes. We applied them in rows so a half moon shape was formed.

5. Add the mushrooms. These crafting mushrooms are typically on picks, so just add some glue to the bottom of the mushroom and press the pick all the way down into the poms. Hold in place until dry and secure. Continue adding mushrooms in any color combination and pattern that you wish.

6. Once all of your pieces are in place and dry, you can add ribbon for hanging or simply display the wreath on a hook.
