What does it mean to be fearfully and wonderfully made? As a Christian, I believe that everyone, no matter what race, color, or background you are, you are created in God’s image. God created everyone in His image and likeness, making every last one of us special. Sometimes, though, we have difficulty seeing how special we are. Sometimes, we need encouragement and affirmations to remind us of that.

Psalm 139:14

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Did you know that God even knows the exact number of hairs on your head?

Luke 12:7

“God even knows how many hairs you have on your head (even the hairs on your head have all been numbered). Don’t be afraid. You are worth much more than many sparrows.

Here is a list of affirmations to encourage you daily. These affirmations remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and reaffirm your uniqueness to God.

God Loves me so much!

I am fully known and loved by God.

I am fearfully and Wonderfully Made.

I am God’s Beloved Child.

I am a work in progress. I can improve next time.

God is fighting for me.

I am beautiful.

I am loved.

I am not alone. God is with me.

God will provide for my needs.

God will heal me.

God also gives us many promises in the bible. We cling to these promises when we struggle with different trials and situations in life. This is one of my favorite promises –

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope”. Jeremiah 29:11
