3. Bar Harbor, Maine

This gorgeous seashore community, located next to Acadia National Park, stole my heart at the first visit. And driving through Maine was such a fun experience as we saw several lighthouses along the way. One of the highlights of visiting Bar Harbor was the Lobster boat tour on http://lululobsterboat.com. I highly recommend this tour as we visited Egg Rock Lighthouse and saw the seals in their natural habitat.. We were also able to observe and learn from the captain and crew about Lobster fishing as they caught several lobsters on our tour.
