Make a Paper Flower Hanging Basket Craft with Free SVG

Craft materials laid out: colored paper sheets (blue, green, red, pink, beige), double-sided tape, scissors, and a pen
  • Colored paper (we used blue, green, red, yellow, pink, beige, etc.)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or any adhesive
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Paper tape
  • Rope for hanging (optional) 

Ready? Let’s start crafting!

Instructions:

Cut two rectangles of blue paper.

The basket frame will be 7×11.5 inches, and the holder will be 3/4 inches x 11.5 inches.

Next, cut a green strip of paper for the base of the basket, 2×11.5 inches.

Cut multiple strips on the biggest rectangle, about half an inch wide each, as shown in the image.

Attach the green paper on the bottom part of the biggest rectangle (the side without cuts)

Next, attach both ends (shorter) of the paper to form a tube.

Curl the multiple strips using the scissors or any edgy object.

You can also use a pencil to curl the strips.

Add double-sided tape on both ends of the basket holder.

Then, attach both ends of the strip to the inner part of the basket.

This will serve as the handle and hanging loop.

Cut out multiple flower shapes from colored paper (red, yellow, pink, beige, etc.).

Then, cut small circles in a contrasting color for the flower centers. Glue the small circles to the center of each flower.
