- Acrylic paint - brown
- Paintbrushes
- Googly eyes
- Pipe cleaners - brown
- Red pom poms
- Glue stick
- Mod podge
Instructions
- Grab your trusty paintbrush and coat the entire jar in brown paint. This step might take a bit of patience because you'll want to ensure good coverage, which might mean applying up to three coats. Take your time and let each coat dry completely before adding the next one.
- To give our Reindeer Mason jar Christmas Craft a polished finish, consider sealing it with a coat of Mod Podge. This step is optional but can add durability and protection to your paint job. Using a clean brush, apply a thin and even coat of Mod Podge over the painted surface of the jar. This will help seal the paint and prevent it from chipping or fading.
- Grab some brown felt material and cut out two ear shapes, each approximately 1.5 inches in size. These will be the adorable ears for our reindeer friend.
- Using some glue, secure the antlers to each side of the top of the jar. Glue the red pom-pom to the bottom of the jar right on the front. Glue the googly eyes just above the red pom-pom nose to complete our reindeer's face. Lastly, let's fill our Reindeer Mason jar with holiday delights! Load up the jar with candy canes, creating a delightful and festive treat that's as charming as delicious.
