-Shoebox or similar type box to hold the diorama
How to Make an Ocean Diorama
First, you will need to cut out the blue printable pieces (or you can use blue construction paper) that is the size of your diorama box. Next, you will want to attach this blue piece to the back of your diorama box or you can choose to use very study paper and make this diorama without a shoebox. This will be the ocean.
You can also add some waves! To do this, you will need to cut out strips of blue construction paper or poster board. The width and length of these strips will depend on how big you want your waves to be. Once you have cut out your strips, glue them onto the ocean floor in a wavy pattern.
The brown printable resembles the ocean floor where you can cut out and attach the fish and coral reef to it to give it a three dimensional look.

How to make the Underwater Scene in the Diorama Box

First, you will need to gather your materials that you have already cut out and pasted to the shoebox. in addition to the ocean diorama printable, you may also need blue paint, green paint, white paint, glue, and scissors. Add elements to your scene such as the coral reef and ocean grass that is included in this download. You can also add rocks, shells or sand to the bottom of the box.
For the plants in your underwater scene, you will want to use green paint or marker. You can either paint directly onto the cutout printable, or you can cut out small pieces of green paper and glue them to the shoebox.
