What’s Included — The 5 Free Thanksgiving SVG Designs
Here’s a look at each of the five designs in this free download:
1. Gobble Till You Wobble
The most popular design in this set. “Gobble Till You Wobble” is the perfect Thanksgiving shirt saying — it captures exactly the spirit of a holiday built around an enormous meal, and kids and adults love it equally.
Works especially well on t-shirts and sweatshirts cut from heat transfer vinyl, but also looks great on kitchen towels, tote bags, and mugs.
Suggested projects: Thanksgiving t-shirts, kids’ holiday shirts, tote bags for carrying dishes to dinner, kitchen towels, mugs.

2. Thankful SVG
A clean, simple “Thankful” design, the kind that works in any fall context, not just Thanksgiving Day. This design has the longest seasonal shelf life of the five: you can use it from October through late November on any fall-themed project. Works beautifully on mugs, wood signs, tote bags, and pillowcases.

Suggested projects: fall home decor signs, Thanksgiving mugs, tote bags, throw pillows, framed vinyl art.
3. Thankful and Blessed SVG
A slightly more elaborate take on the gratitude theme, pairing two of the most classic Thanksgiving sentiments together.
This design works well for more formal or faith-based Thanksgiving projects — home decor, framed signs, and gifts that carry a bit more meaning than a funny saying.

Suggested projects: Thanksgiving home decor, framed signs, faith-based gifts, mugs, vinyl wall art, table runners.
4. Eat, Drink, and Wear Stretchy Pants
The funny one. “Eat, Drink, and Wear Stretchy Pants” is the Thanksgiving saying that immediately gets a laugh from anyone who has ever sat at a Thanksgiving table and deeply regretted not wearing them.
This design is a crowd-pleaser for Thanksgiving shirts, especially for matching family sets where adults get the funny saying while kids get Gobble Till You Wobble.

Suggested projects: Thanksgiving shirts for adults, matching family holiday shirts, funny hostess gifts, aprons, kitchen towels.
5. Turkey SVG
A classic turkey illustration, clean and versatile enough to pair with text, use as a standalone design, or layer with other elements in Design Space.
Works for both kids’ projects and adult Thanksgiving crafts. Great for anyone who wants a traditional Thanksgiving symbol without a specific saying.

Suggested projects: kids’ Thanksgiving shirts, classroom decorations, greeting cards, Thanksgiving party decor, gift tags.
File Formats Included
This download comes in five file formats, more than most free Thanksgiving SVG packs:
SVG — the standard format for all cutting machines including Cricut, Silhouette, and Brother ScanNCut. This is what you’ll use in Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio.
DXF — useful for older versions of Silhouette Studio that don’t support SVG import, or for other cutting software that prefers DXF format.
PNG — a raster image with a transparent background. Use this in Cricut Design Space for Print Then Cut projects, or in design programs for digital use.
JPG — a standard image file for general digital use, social media, or reference.
PDF — printable format for using the design as a template or for non-cutting applications.
How to Use These Thanksgiving SVG Files with Your Cricut
Step 1: Download the free zip file using the button below. Save it to your computer.
Step 2: Unzip the file. On a Mac, double-click the zip file to extract it. On Windows, right-click and select “Extract All.” You’ll see a folder containing all five designs in all five formats.
Step 3: Open Cricut Design Space and start a new project.
Step 4: Click “Upload” in the left toolbar, then “Upload Image.” Browse to the unzipped folder, select the SVG file for the design you want to use, and click Open. Design Space will import the design and show you a preview.
Step 5: Click “Save” and then “Insert Images” to add the design to your canvas.
Step 6: Resize the design to fit your project. For a standard t-shirt, a width of 10–12 inches works well for adult sizes. For a child’s shirt, 6–8 inches is usually right.
Step 7: If you’re making a shirt, mirror the design before cutting your heat transfer vinyl (HTV). Select the design, click “Mirror” in the top toolbar, then send to cut.
Step 8: Cut your material, weed the excess vinyl, apply with a Cricut EasyPress or household iron, and peel the carrier sheet once cool.

What to Make with These Free Thanksgiving SVG Files
Thanksgiving shirts and matching family sets. The most popular use by far. Cut the Gobble Till You Wobble and Stretchy Pants designs from heat transfer vinyl, apply them to plain shirts, and you have a matching set for Thanksgiving morning that costs a fraction of what you’d pay for custom shirts online.
Thanksgiving mugs and tumblers. Use permanent adhesive vinyl to apply the Thankful or Thankful and Blessed designs to ceramic mugs or tumblers. These make meaningful Thanksgiving hostess gifts that are easy to personalize by adding a name in Design Space before cutting.
Kitchen towels and aprons. Kitchen-related Thanksgiving humor lands especially well on items that actually get used in the kitchen. The Stretchy Pants design on a flour sack towel is a reliably funny hostess gift.
Tote bags for carrying dinner food. The Gobble Till You Wobble, or Thankful designs on a plain canvas tote bag create a practical, festive carrier for the dishes you’re bringing to Thanksgiving dinner.
Thanksgiving signs and home decor. Use the Thankful and Blessed design with adhesive vinyl on a wood slice, a chalkboard, a picture frame, or a canvas sign for seasonal home decor that works from October through the end of November.
Thanksgiving party table decor. The Turkey SVG pairs well with paper goods — use it to decorate place cards, centerpiece signs, or a turkey-shaped treat bag for kids at the table.
Tips for Your Best Thanksgiving SVG Results
Cut vinyl at the right pressure. Thanksgiving SVG designs with fine lettering require a clean, accurate cut. If you’re getting tears or incomplete cuts, increase your blade pressure by one setting and run a test cut on a small piece of vinyl before cutting the full design.
Mirror before cutting heat transfer vinyl. This is the step beginners most often forget. Always mirror (flip) your design before cutting HTV — if you skip this, your text will be backward when applied to the shirt.
Use a light-grip mat for regular adhesive vinyl and a standard-grip mat for HTV. The right mat prevents your material from slipping mid-cut and gives you a cleaner result.
Weed in good lighting. Fine details in designs like the Turkey SVG are much easier to weed cleanly under a bright light or a lightbox.
Heat press evenly and firmly. Whether you’re using a Cricut EasyPress or a household iron, press firmly and hold for the full recommended time. Lifting to check before the time is up is one of the most common causes of partially applied vinyl.
