How to Use the Worksheets

Face A

1. Print your chosen blank face and expressions and cut them out.

2. Glue the face, the strip of eyes, and mouthpieces onto stiff card stock or other cardboard. A cereal box is an excellent option.

3. Only glue the upper part of the head and the chin to the cardboard. Do not glue the middle section; it is intended to allow the eyes to glide in.

4. Cut along the dotted lines on the faces.

5. Thread the eye strips through the slots.

6. Change expressions by sliding the eyes through and placing the mouths on the lower half of the face.

Face B

1. Print your chosen blank face and expressions and cut them out.

2. Glue the face and the expression pieces onto stiff card stock or other cardboard. A cereal box is an excellent option.

3. Add the expressions to the faces and discuss what the faces are feeling.
