Materials needed to make the Goldilocks and the three bears pdf for Preschoolers
2 letter size manilla folders
8 Template Sheets printed on Cardstock Paper (use card stock because it created a sturdy surface)
Glue or Glue Stick
1 brad fastener
Adult hands helping little hands
How to make the Goldilocks PDF Craft Printable
Begin by gathering two manilla folders
Make the base folder first by folding the manilla folder flat. Fold both the right and left edges toward the center until they meet and close similar to shutters. Crease firmly and cut off tabs, if desired.
Cut the folder cover in half lengthwise. Glue each side to the left and
right flaps of the folder front.
Cut parts I & 3 in half lengthwise. Glue the left side to the inner left flap of the folder
Glue part 2 onto the center of the folder. (full sheet)
Cut out the Story characters and the character pocket.
Fold the pocket edges inward at the solid lines. Glue these inner edges to the left inside flap
of the folder.
Insert the story characters into the pocket
Cut out the bowls and labels. Follow the directions on the sheet.
Cut out the chair fan book” shapes. Follow the directions on the sheet.
Attach the brad to the chair pictures
Attach to the story book
Glue part 3 on the right inner flap of the folder.
Cut out the beds. Follow the directions on the sheet.
Cut parts 4 & 5 in half lengthwise. Glue part 4 onto the inner flap of the second folder. Glue part 5 onto the next folder section.
Using your imagination, draw Goldilocks’ surprised face when she wakes
up and sees the three bears.
Cut the last sheet in half lengthwise. Glue the story elements chart and
porridge tasting chart to the last blank sections.
Draw pictures or write sentences to describe the setting, characters
and plot of the story.
Check off what you do and don’t like with your porridge on the chart.
Cut the sheet with parts 6 & 7 in half lengthwise. Glue the parts to the
next 2 blank flaps.
