Reindeer Paper Bag Craft
Make an adorable paper bag reindeer puppet—perfect for holiday story time and pretend play. - Paper bag (lunch size; flap becomes the mouth)
- Construction paper: brown (face/ears), tan or pink (inner ears/muzzle), red (scarf), white & black (eyes)

Instructions
- Print the template
Download the free reindeer template and print at Actual Size (100%). For sturdier pieces, use light cardstock. - Prep the paper bag
Place the bag flap side up—this flap will be the reindeer’s mouth. If your bag isn’t brown, cover the front with a rectangle of brown paper. - Cut and trace
Cut out the antlers, ears, inner ears, muzzle, and eye pieces from the template. If you printed on white, trace each piece onto the matching construction paper colors, then cut them out. - Assemble the face base.
Glue the muzzle near the bottom of the flap (so it moves when the mouth opens). If using paper eyes, glue white eye ovals above the flap and add black pupils (or use googly eyes). Draw small eyebrows with a marker if you like. - Attach antlers and ears.
Glue the antlers to the back/top of the bag so they peak above the head. Layer inner ears onto outer ears, then glue the ears slightly below/inside the antlers on both sides. - Add the scarf
Cut two red strips of construction paper (about 1–1.5" wide). Glue one strip diagonally across the reindeer’s neck area (below the flap), then glue the second strip crossing over it to look like a tied scarf. Add yarn fringe to the ends if desired. - Give Rudolph his nose.
Glue a red pom-pom just below the eyes on the muzzle piece. Press for a few seconds so it adheres. (No pom-pom? Use a red paper circle.) - Finishing touches
