1. Start with the Base: Lay down a foundation using the orange Lego bricks on the base plate. Decide on the size of your pumpkin and create a circular shape.

2. Build the Pumpkin’s Body: Start stacking more orange bricks on your base layer.

Make sure each layer is slightly wider than the previous one to give it a round shape.

Fill in the center of the pumpkin – the color of the Legos doesn’t matter since they will be in the center of the pumpkin and covered by the exterior pumpkin Legos.

As you reach the desired height, start decreasing the width of each layer to give the pumpkin a rounded top.

4. Display Your Masterpiece: Place your Lego pumpkin where everyone can admire it. It could be on a window sill, a table centerpiece, or even alongside real pumpkins.

5. Create the Face (Optional): This is an optional step, but you can design a face for your pumpkin using black Lego bricks. You can add eyes, a nose, and a mouth to give it a classic jack-o’-lantern look. If you want a friendlier appearance, go for round eyes and a smiling mouth.

Remember, the joy of building with Lego is that there are no strict rules. Use your creativity, and don’t be afraid to modify the design.

Can I add lights to this pumpkin?

Absolutely! If you have transparent or semi-transparent Lego bricks, place a small LED tea light inside to make your pumpkin glow. This will turn your simple Lego pumpkin into a beautiful fall lantern. Imagine your Lego pumpkin lantern’s warm, ambient glow lighting up a cozy evening.

Discussing the different shapes of the bricks, the colors, and the overall design can be entertaining and educational.
